PRIVATE SPECIALIST DENTAL OFFICE FOR ORTHODONTICS is in the centre of Rijeka, near Hotel Bonavia.

Dr. Marko Perković was born in Slavonski Brod. He was a seventh child in workers' family which gave six highly educated young people. He's married to dr. Ana Perković. They have four children: Vjera, Matija, Dora and Bernarda.

Dr.Marko Perković graduated from University of Dental Health in Zagreb where he also graduated from post-graduate studies of orthodontics . After three years of residency, he passed the exam and became a specialist of orthodontics. He also has a title of doctor of science ( PhD) which he achieved after the defence of his disertation at The University of Rijeka where he worked for a while as an assistent. Since 1997. he has worked in his private dental office where he practices everything he learned during his studies. He specialises in fixed orthodontic technic, especially Dr.Alexander's technic which he has learned directly from the author during the stay at his private clinic in Arlington, Texas, US. By his reccomendation, he stricty uses products of American company ORMCO, one of the leading companies in this field. He is a member of ADSC and regular visitor of their congresses all over the world. He's the only Croatian mamber of WFO, world orthodontics organisation and of AAO, American Asociation of Orthodontics Specialists, whose annual meetings in Toronto and Honolulu he has personaly attended. He participated at numerous courses of orthodontics, eg., lingual orthodontics which he personaly specializes, and implantology course.


He wrote several science papers.

Two young girls help him with his practise: dental technician Lidija Mrvelj and nurse Ivana Prgomet.
